SHAFA Kids: Interactive Stories App for Children
Children growing up abroad rarely find warm, well-made stories in their native language. With SHAFA Kids we built our own multilingual app with stories, colouring pages and offline use, including a CMS for new content.

A product idea was turned into a real usable platform with an app interface, admin area, media management, multilingual content logic, and a technical foundation for growth.
About the project
For SHAFA Kids, we developed a modern digital platform that helps children abroad access warm, educational stories in their own language. The app combines short meaningful stories, personalized content, coloring pages, and a parent-friendly interface. A custom CMS was also created to manage series, stories, images, translations, settings, and public content from one place. The focus was on a stable PWA structure, simple usability, clean content logic, and a foundation that can later be extended into native iOS and Android apps.
Starting point
The main challenge was to create a flexible content platform that does more than display individual stories. It needed to support multiple languages, personalized story variants, images, coloring pages, offline use, and future monetization. At the same time, the system had to stay simple enough so new content could be managed without technical knowledge.
Solution
We built a React-based PWA and a custom CMS connected to a backend. Content is managed in a structured way, delivered in multiple languages, and optimized for mobile use. The app supports child-friendly views, parent areas, offline storage, dynamic media, and a scalable architecture for future App Store versions.
Result
Working MVP with CMS, PWA, multilingual content system, offline structure, and an app-store-ready product foundation.
